50th time listening, and watching. At least. Yes, all the members thru the ages, have always expressed their dream/desire to augment the studio recordings with full orchestration and additional vocals, which were covered via synths and all the studio tricks used to broaden their sound. Watch Jon throughout, he’s living that dream. Hearing all the pure “extra” elements (choir, additional singers, orchestra) that Yes, the band, had to create/execute/substitute for the real things. They’ve always been such a unique group. I’m sure there are a gazillion different takes on all the songs we know, and love. So, no criticism of any versions here. Like Jon, I’m living, and watching, a Yes dream come true. There are two Yes “tribute” bands I’ve seen lately in Boston. Awaken. Total Mass Retain. They’re both very enthusiastic and capable.

Been a Yes fan since 14, Having a retro night listening to this, am now 63,. Saw Yes at the Southampton Gaumont, years ago, the at Poole Arts Centre with the Buggles influence, and Jon there with Vangelis.Years ago but has brought back good memories from a scene I grew up with, in the 90s as the rave scene kicked in I opened a girls club wear shop and it’s got me into House Music, I still follow the old rules, my kids have picked up on Yes, Roundabout through Guardians of the Galaxy. Yes is living on well!

"Awaken" is my favorite Yes song and this is hands down my favorite version. Todmobile is AMAZING! Such a remarkable interpretation of these great songs.

Astonishing.

Unlike many others here, I love the -in some way- reduced arrangements of the YES songs. Always felt the original songs a bit over-arranged and over-performed. No doubt, Rick, Steve, Chris and Bill were outstanding musicians. But as no one was prepared to stand back, almost every fill was played by all of them, which for me made their sound too thick (if I may say so).

I have yet to hear any singer approaching Jons age whose vocals sounds as unphased by time. It's remarkable. Pair that with the facts that nobody sounds even remotely like him, and he and (along with Yes) have created a sound palette unlike any other. An amazing and remarkable career. Certainly he must be considered some kind of a goat. Pick a category!

I find the version of Roundabout weak and rather cluttered musically. Miss Howe and Wakeman.

Brilliant. I saw Yes play Awaken live in Philadelphia in the late 70's ... beyond virtuosity, it was a spiritual event. This is remarkable. Thank you Todmobile for bringing this back to life.

Can't believe this is 20 years old and can't believe it is 20 years since I listened! I saw them a few times - probably Sidmouth - bloody hell what a live performance!

'This rendition of 'State of independence' is Art, Todmobile musicians and especially the vocalists are incredible, and the whole arraignment is superb.
